Deeds Not Words, the title of this exhibition, was the battlecry of the 19th century suffrage movement in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the USA. The works on show salute the fabulous South Australian women whose long and tireless campaigning resulted in our state becoming the first in Australia where women could vote and stand for parliament.
